The spark for FORMULA D's conception ignited in July 2008 when a 2 week old GTR35 had to languish in some nameless auto workshop for almost a year due to their inability to diagnose a faulty solenoid. With no qualified skills, tools nor spare parts available this was a bitter lesson learnt.
